Seaside Electrical · JOBTRACKER

Privacy Notice

Seaside Electrical provides JOBTRACKER and is the data controller for personal information handled to operate this service. This notice explains what we collect and why.

Information we handle

  • Account and company details, including office user names or email addresses, company name, authentication information and invitations, to create accounts and manage access.
  • Crew names, company codes, PIN authentication information, job assignments, dates, hours, leave records and timesheets, to let companies manage work.
  • Job details, site or client information, rates, expenses and variations entered by users, which may include personal information, to provide job-costing features.
  • Support communications, device and browser information, IP addresses and error or usage records, to respond to requests, keep the service secure and diagnose problems.

Payment and card details are handled by Paddle as the Merchant of Record, rather than entered into JOBTRACKER’s own forms.

Why we use it

We process account, crew and job information to perform our contract and provide the service; security logs and diagnostic information for legitimate interests in fraud prevention, service reliability and improvement; and records where needed to meet legal obligations. If we ever ask for optional marketing consent, you may withdraw it. We do not sell your company’s job or timesheet records.

Who receives information

Information may be shared with hosting, authentication, error-reporting and support providers that help run JOBTRACKER; Paddle for selling the subscription, managing payment and renewals, tax compliance and invoicing; professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers; and public authorities when required by law. Office admins at your company can access their company’s crew and job information.

Keeping information safe and how long we keep it

We use appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls and encryption where appropriate. We keep account and operational records while a company uses JOBTRACKER and thereafter only as long as needed for legitimate business, legal, tax, dispute or security purposes. Information no longer needed is deleted or anonymised. A company’s admins manage the information entered for their crew.

Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you can ask to access or correct personal information, request deletion, or raise a privacy complaint. Contact Seaside Electrical through your existing business contact channel to make a request; crew members can also speak to their company’s office admin about information entered by that company. We will consider each request under applicable privacy law. You can manage your account and company information inside JOBTRACKER.

Cookies and local storage

Essential session and preference data help keep office and crew users signed in and remember settings such as a chosen login email or company code. Paddle may use cookies when you open its checkout or billing portal. Browser settings can remove stored data or block cookies, but essential sign-in or checkout features may then stop working. We do not currently offer a separate marketing-cookie preference control.

International processing

Some service and payment providers may process data outside your country. Where privacy law requires safeguards for such transfers, we use appropriate contractual and organisational protections.
